U.S. Secretary of Agriculture, Sonny Perdue, has announced the formation of the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP). This program is designed to assist farmers, ranchers and consumers in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

At the direction of President Donald Trump, the USDA will utilize $19 billion in relief funds to provide support to farmers and ranchers with the goal to maintain the integrity of the food supply chain.
