Non-Profit Fraud ‘Lunch n Learn’
Marysville Journal-Tribune staff reports:
A free event will be held to help prevent fraud among nonprofit organizations. The United Way of Union County is working with Union County Prosecuting Attorney David Phillips, Ohio Attorney General Mike Dewine’s Office, and Holbrook & Manter, CPAs, to host an informational “Lunch ‘n’ Learn” Mini-Seminar that will address fraud prevention in nonprofit organizations. Executive staff members and board members of nonprofit organizations are encouraged to attend the event to learn how to prevent fraud from happening to or within their organization.
“Anyone involved with these organizations who wants to learn more about the subject is welcome to attend,” said Shari Marsh, executive director of United Way of Union County. “We are strongly encouraging all those directly involved in these organizations to come out.”
Holbrook & Manter will host the seminar at the Union County Services Building, 940 London Ave., in Conference Rooms A and B on May 24 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Please RSVP to Lisa Decot at 937.644.8175.
